BANKRUPTCY

Home is where the heart is. But, what if you were forced to leave yours? 04/05/2015

One of our clients entered our office disheartened with a notice informing them that they needed to vacate their house because the sheriff’s sale of the client’s home was merely weeks away. The case against our client was seemingly without flaw. However, after one of our attorneys meticulously studied the case, we noticed that the bank had failed to provide adequate notice to our client. We then filed a motion to vacate judgment on the basis of improper notice, and the client was able to stay in their home for another year.
