Won Eik (Joseph) Cho is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Penn State Dickinson Law, where he was a full-tuition scholarship recipient throughout his studies. Prior to law school, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Mr. Cho provides comprehensive legal services in Immigration Law, Employment Law, and Landlord-Tenant Law based on his extensive practical experience.
Immigration & Visa Services: His expertise spans non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1, and E-2 investment visas, as well as family-based immigration, adjustment of status (green card applications), consular processing, PERM labor certification, I-140 and I-130 petitions, and naturalization. He has provided strategic counsel on complex immigration issues for major corporations such as SK, LG, and Kiswire, as well as for individual clients.
Employment & Landlord-Tenant Law: In addition to his immigration practice, Mr. Cho focuses on resolving disputes related to labor laws and landlord-tenant relations for both corporate and individual clients. He provides in-depth legal solutions regarding workplace rights, employment relationships, and the complex rights and obligations between landlords and tenants.
Mr. Cho supports clients through every stage of the legal process — from petition preparation and evidence collection to responding to Requests for Evidence (RFE), attending interviews, and securing final approval — ensuring a thorough and efficient personalized service. Before joining Song Law Firm, Mr. Cho worked at several law firms in New York and New Jersey, successfully handling numerous cases for minority groups, foreign workers, and individuals navigating complex legal procedures.
