USCIS Extends Initial Registration Period for FY 2025 H-1B Cap
On March 21, 2024, USCIS announced an update to the initial registration process for FY 2025 H-1B Cap.
USCIS has extended the initial registration period for the fiscal year (FY) 2025 H-1B cap. The initial registration period, which opened at Initially scheduled to run from noon Eastern on March 6, 2024, through noon Eastern on March 22, 2024, the registration period will now extend until noon Eastern on March 25, 2024. This extension comes in response to a temporary system outage experienced by some registrants. USCIS aims to accommodate affected individuals by providing additional time to complete their registrations.
Furthermore, USCIS remains committed to notifying selected registrants by March 31, 2024.
For those who have not yet completed registration, we strongly advise doing so promptly to avoid any potential disadvantages. Additionally, for individuals who may have felt discouraged by time constraints, this extension brings positive news, and we encourage swift action to register.
