This client, as a pharmacist, requested a case from the immigration team of Song Law Firm to apply for H-1B. Occupations requiring a license, such as lawyers, medical practitioners, pharmacists, architects, and social workers, have traditionally been easily recognized as professional occupations required by H-1B, and thus the H-1B approval rate was high. Looking at recent trends in immigration, it seems that just because a job requires a license does not necessarily mean that it is a professional job. In this case too, a Request for Additional Documents (RFE) was issued, and additional data proving that the position corresponds to a professional occupation, such as a specific job description, actual work history, and the existence of auxiliary personnel, were requested. Accordingly, our immigration team faithfully prepared and submitted an answer, and it was approved soon. Congratulations.
