We represented a client who had been subjected to sexual assault, battery and rape. Such crimes, especially rape, are serious offenses under the State statutory law that can potentially lead to serious legal consequences for the offender. With the goal of putting the matter behind her, it was our client’s wishes to have the case settled rather than having to haul the matter into a long and arduous litigation process. We successfully drafted a detailed settlement agreement that was fair and just for all the parties involved, and the client was thoroughly pleased with the speedy manner in which we brought what would otherwise have been a very long and painful ordeal to an end.
