A client received two tickets: one for leaving the scene of an accident and one for failing to report an accident when he fell asleep at the wheel and drove his car into a ditch. Before discovering the identity of the driver, the police issued the same two tickets to the owner of the vehicle after a license plate search. Both tickets were dismissed in Court with our client pleading only to failure to report. There was a fine but no points.
