T-Bone motor vehicle accident

There’s a golden rule for stop signs. Stop at the sign for three seconds, look both ways, and then go your way. Usually, following this golden rule is enough, but for our clients, it was not. Another driver ran a stop sign and rammed into our client’s car, creating a T-Bone motor vehicle accident. Our clients, a husband-wife couple, were injured and came to us for help.

Our clients, a married couple of 76 and 69 years of age, were T-boned by another driver who ran a stop sign. The husband has 3 alleged neck herniations and evidence of lumbar radiculopathy in the low back. He had physical therapy and acupuncture but no injections or surgery.

The wife had only one low back herniating and radiculopathy in the C6 and C7 vertebra.  She received therapy and acupuncture but also received a cervical and lumbar steroid injection. She had no surgery as well.

We were able to obtain the entire liability policy of $25,000 for each client.  In addition we collected an additional $20,000 for the husband and $30,000 for the wife from their underinsured motorist coverage on their own car. For it was a big T-bone accident, we were enthused to settle collectively for about $100,000 for the married couple.
