Wife’s Attorney-in-Fact Application Denied, Our Client’s Interests Protected

After her divorce was finalized, a wife brought a post-judgment application against the husband to appoint herself as the attorney-in-fact of the husband so she would be able to sell the couple’s real estate property on her own.
The wife argued that her husband was not cooperating with the sale of the house in violation of the judgment of divorce. The husband, unaware of the sale of the property and the wife’s attempt to sell the property without getting his consent, hired Song Law Firm to defend him in the motion. Song Law Firm filed an opposition to the wife’s request and argued the application be denied based on lack of merit and procedural defects.
With experience and expertise, Song Law Firm’s attorneys were able to have the wife’s application denied by the Court and successfully protected our client’s interests.
